ACCOUNTS/DEBTORS CLERK

Qualificaction :

HSC holder / Studying ACCA

Experience :

Excellent IT skills with Microsoft Office knowledge

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Banking of cash and cheques

- Dealing with customer requests, enquiries and complaints

- Chasing of overdue balances and keeping log

- Allocating payments from debtors against invoices paid

- Reconciling allocations.

- Extracting and sending statement of accounts.

- Circulating debtors ageing as and when required.

- Scheduling debtors meeting, discussing overdue accounts and circulating minutes thereafter.

- Attending auditors' queries in relation to debtors

- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.

- Entering key data of financial transactions in database.

- Assisting Finance Officer and Chief Finance Officer as and when needed.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

- Proven accounting experience - HSC holder / Studying ACCA

- Excellent IT skills with Microsoft Office knowledge

- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.

- Good communication and negotiation skills.

- Good written and spoken English and French

- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks.

- Team player with good time management and interpersonal skills.
